All the snow laying around may make for an easy projectile, but Grey Bruce OPP are reminding the public not to pitch objects, including snowballs, at passing vehicles.
The word of caution comes after snow was recently thrown from a home at a vehicle on Grey Road 13 in Grey Highlands.
The driver of the targeted vehicle confronted the person who threw the snow and an argument broke out before police were called.
Police remind, throwing objects at vehicles can result in criminal charges. Instead of taking matters into your own hands, police advise those with concerns over someone's driving you should gather as much information on the vehicle, such as make, model, and licence plate number and call police.
Drivers who have something pitched at their vehicle are being given similar advice to not to confront the offender, but to collect details about the person, residence, or the vehicle from which the item was thrown and contact police.
No charges were laid in the Grey Highlands incident.
