Hanover police were called about the disturbance on Tuesday night. Officers determined a woman had been running through the halls, banging on doors, and threatening to shoot people.
A 41-year-old woman from Niagara Falls was arrested and charged with uttering threats and breach of probation.
The disturbance was one of two that resulted in arrests by Hanover police on Christmas Eve.
In the other incident, a man took off running from a vehicle when police responding to a disturbance call arrived in the area. Officers conducted a search and found the man hiding in a shed in a backyard.
A 28-year-old Chatsworth man was arrested. He has since been charged with impaired driving.
According to police, the man had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
"Protecting communities is a responsibility that never stops regardless of the day of the week or the time of the year," Police Chief Christopher Knoll said in a post on social media about the pair of disturbances. "Thank you to the police members across Ontario and beyond who are working this Christmas season to ensure our safety."
