CNSC staff will present its assessment of the the safe operation and performance of the nuclear power plants and the nuclear waste facility to the CNSC Commission during a public meeting as part of the nuclear industry regulator’s annual regulatory oversight review.

The reports assess 14 Safety Control Areas, including Environmental Protection, Radiation Protection, Operating Performance, Emergency Management, and Fire Protection. A public meeting to discuss the findings will take place in Ottawa on February 25, 2025.
