An Elmwood resident is celebrating a life-changing win.
Dennis Becker hit it big with a $125,000 Daily Keno prize in the October 21 evening draw.
Becker, who works in the skilled trades, has been a loyal OLG player for decades. He uses a strategy of picking numbers based on past winning combinations, and this time, it paid off in a big way.
Becker picked up his winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
“When I checked my ticket and saw all my numbers matched, I was thrilled! It’s a great feeling to have a big win come my way,” he added.
After sharing the news with his wife, Becker said she was so excited that it inspired her to try her hand at Daily Keno. Now, the couple is planning to put the winnings into savings and enjoy a sunny vacation this winter.
The lucky ticket was purchased at Circle K on 10th Street in Hanover.
