Seaforth man among Hells Angels, Red Devils members charged in robbery

A Seaforth man is among five members of two different motorcycle clubs who have been charged in connection with a robbery in Cambridge two months ago.

The OPP-led biker enforcement unit, in collaboration with Cambridge OPP and Waterloo Regional police, launched an investigation after the robbery on September 21. Police have provided no information about the incident.

As a result of the probe, officers searched two properties in Cambridge and Kitchener on October 17. The following week, two additional searches were conducted at locations in Seaforth and Whitby.

During the searches, police seized 17 firearms, a prohibited device, ammunition, nine magazines, multiple cellphones, three Hells Angels vests, possession and acquisition licences from two Hells Angels members, a quantity of unknown pills, and stolen property.

Four alleged members of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club and one alleged member of the Red Devils were arrested. They have been charged with a combined 14 offences. Among the accused is 34-year-old Bradley McLaughlin from Seaforth. He is charged with robbery and disguise with intent. He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Kitchener court on Tuesday.

Three of the other accused individuals have also been released from custody with future court dates, while an arrest warrant has been issued for a fifth person, a 29-year-old from Northumberland County.

Police are asking anyone with information about illegal activity associated with outlaw motorcycle gangs to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
