West Grey police hosting annual toy drive

The West Grey Police Service will be hosting its 20th annual Toy Drive for Families in West Grey in the upcoming weeks.

Unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the West Grey Police Station, the West Grey Municipal Office, Germania Mutual Insurance in Ayton, Granny’s in Neustadt, Ayton Food Market, and Durham Home Hardware until December 11.

Additionally, West Grey Police officers will be at Farlow’s Home Hardware and Durham Foodland on December 7 after the Santa Claus parade for a special toy and food drive.

Monetary donations are also accepted at Home Hardware or the West Grey police station.

Last year, donations to the toy drive helped 211 children in West Grey enjoy Christmas morning with brand new toys.
