Bruce Power makes significant donation to Wounded Warriors

Wounded Warriors has received a large donation from Bruce Power.

A media release from Bruce Power says that the nuclear power generating station has donated $75,000 to Wounded Warriors Canada.

Wounded Warriors supports ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, first responders, and their families.

It is a national mental health service provider with numerous healthcare partners that specialize in trauma-based training and counselling.

Bruce Power has donated over $1.3 million to Wounded Warriors since 2012.

“The dedication and commitment our supplier partners continue to demonstrate in support of this very important cause is incredible,” said Eric Chassard, Bruce Power’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Our Supplier Sponsorship Program comes through for Wounded Warriors every year, enabling the brave men and women of our military, veterans, first responders, and their families to have access to the supports they need.”
