Matthew Rae has been acclaimed as the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party candidate for Perth-Wellington.
He said he remains focused on making sure the riding gets its fair share of provincial funding and the province continues to build a better and safer rural Ontario.
"It is an honour to be acclaimed as the PC candidate for the next provincial election," Rae said.
Premier Doug Ford said Rae has been instrumental in delivering results for Perth- Wellington.
"Whether it's helping to grow Ontario's electric vehicle industry, investing in vital infrastructure , or expanding access to health care, Matthew's leadership has had a real impact on his community," he said. "He's committed to making life easier and more affordable for families and businesses, and I'm proud to have him on our team as we build a stronger Ontario."
Rae was first elected as the Perth- Wellington MPP during the spring 2022 election.
