Huron OPP Auxiliary stuff a cruiser with food donations

The Huron County OPP Auxiliary Unit is very thankful for the community's generosity at their recent "Stuff-a-Cruiser" food drive.

Huron OPP said the four-hour food collection event at the Zehrs Grocery Store in Goderich on November 9 was very successful.

People donated 227 pre-packaged food bags, and over $370 in monetary donations. One single donation of $400 in groceries was also collected.

OPP said all donations will be distributed to local families in need through the Salvation Army.

The Huron County OPP Auxiliary Unit will be in Exeter at Hansen's Independent Grocer for a "Stuff-a-Cruiser" event tomorrow (November 16) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
