It will be a very windy start to the week for many across midwestern Ontario.
According to Environment Canada, a cold front will blast through the region on Monday afternoon, bringing with it wind gusts up to 80 kilometres an hour. This has prompted the national weather agency to issue a special weather statement for Huron, Bruce and Grey counties.
The wind will be strong enough to toss loose objects around, break tree limbs, and cause power outages.
Environment Canada added that wind gusts will be particularly strong near the shorelines of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.
Winds are expected to ease by midnight.
