Minto is ready to get the holiday spirit going with the Minto Magical Holiday Town's series.
Marketing and Community Development Coordinator Erin Raftis says Harriston, Palmerston and Clifford will host a number of holiday themed events starting this month.
"We kick it off with Candy Canes and Cocktails on November 13 in Harriston. This event is a shopping opportunity in our downtown and we also have lots of different holiday themed drinks, a drink den fire pit, as well, to celebrate in downtown Harriston," Raftis shared excitedly.
Following that opening event, there will be plenty more holiday themed happenings to come, with contests as part of the promotion that total over $1,800.
"We also have Light Up the Park on November 15, so this kind of kicks off the holidays in Palmerston and there's lots of lights you can come and visit, as well as glow performers, horse and wagon rides, stories and lots of other fun stuff," added Raftis. "Also in Palmerston on November 21 we have the Kris Kringle Market which is our shopping night in Palmerston. We'll have over 40 different vendors there, as well as our regular downtown businesses, 7 different food trucks and lots of fun at that event, too. Then, on November 23 we celebrate Hometown Christmas in Harriston before the Santa Clause Parade, and on November 30, we have Clifford Christmas in the Street, which is also before the Santa Clause Parade, and there's gonna be lots of fun characters to take pictures with, horse and wagon rides and other fun stuff."
The promotion will also feature a new holiday light trail in Palmerston. Visit https://www.town.minto.on.ca/visitors/play/mintos-magical-holiday-towns to download the Holiday Passport to enter to win and to learn more about the various upcoming experience in Minto.
