Two dozen students were shaken, but otherwise unhurt after a school bus was rear-ended in Owen Sound.
The bus was attempting to turn left from 16th Avenue East into the parking lot of East Ridge Community School when it was hit from behind by a pickup truck around 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
The force of the crash caused multiple airbags in the truck to deploy, Owen Sound police said.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the crash, including the 24 students on the bus or either driver. The pickup sustained extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the truck is charged with careless driving, police said.
