Ribbon cutting celebrates new Kincardine subdivision

A ribbon cutting celebrated the opening of the Golf Sands subdivision in the Municipality of Kincardine on Friday.

The new residential subdivision off Golf Links Road is located on the grounds of the Kincardine Golf and Country Club.

The subdivision has 33 residential units, including single-family homes, townhomes, and semi-detached units.

“As the Municipality of Kincardine and Bruce Power continue to attract more investments and jobs, it’s important that we have an adequate supply and variety of housing options to meet growing demand,” noted Mayor Kenneth Craig. “We thank Keith and Linda Battler as well as the Lindston Group for their continued investment in our community.”

People can attend an open house event at 60 Mercedes Crescen on Sunday, November 3 from 1 to 3 p.m.

“We are thrilled with all the action and building in our new development,” said Keith Battler. “We’d like to extend a big thank you to the Municipality’s development services team for their help guiding us through this project.”
