OPP seeks tips on Walkerton assault

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have asked the public for information on an assault this week in Walkerton.

Officers from the South Bruce detachment were called shortly before noon on Wednesday to the area of Yonge Street South and Third Street, on a report of an assault.

No further details have been disclosed by police.

Anybody who was in the area of Yonge South and Third between 11:40 a.m. and noon on Wednesday, or with security camera footage to share, should call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
