Huron Chamber sets nominees for 2024 Spirit of Success Awards

The Huron Chamber of Commerce has announced nominees for its 2024 Spirit of Success Awards Gala.

There are 14 awards up for grabs this year, set to "celebrate the remarkable achievements of Huron County’s businesses, organizations, and community leaders."

The gala runs on November 8 at the Goderich Columbus Centre, but online ticket sales close this Friday.

The nominees for this year's honours are:

Compass Minerals Environmental and Sustainability Award: Eat Local Huron

John C. Grace Young Entrepreneur Award: Small Town Paralegal / Hayley Bettles, Olive & Rose Flower Studio / Stephanie Suderman

Downtown Goderich BIA Award: Market Square Dental, CMHA Huron Perth Addiction and Mental Health Services, Libro Credit Union

Huron County Economic Development New Business Award: Blake’s Consignment, Local Rolla

MicroAge Basics Service Award: Humphrey-Allen CPA, Zero Gravity Dance Company

K2 Wind Ontario Innovation Award: Square Brew

Goderich Tourism Hospitality Business Award: Steve and Mary’s On The Square, Beach Street Station, Park House Restaurant, River Run Restaurant, Domino’s Pizza Goderich

Zehrs Goderich Retail Business Award: Elliott’s Liquidation & Auction Inc., MTG North, Cravings, SurfSup Eco Shop

Huron County Economic Development Diversity Award: Jokey North America

Bazinet Family Volunteer Award: Pamela Somers, Jenn Coulter

Mainstreet Credit Union Agribusiness Award: EthoGuard Inc., Shoreline Classics

Berhan Immigration and Settlement Services Newcomer Award: Vlorat Vitija, Chuck’s Roadhouse
