Man killed in single-vehicle crash near Hensall

A single-vehicle crash southwest of Hensall has left one person dead.

Emergency crews were called to Airport Line between Zurich-Hensall Road and Rodgerville Road after the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a field just after 11 a.m. on Sunday. The man driving the vehicle was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead, Huron OPP said.

The identity of the man has not been released.

The crash kept the section of Airport Line closed for several hours. It reopened late Sunday.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, OPP said.
