Stratford Police investigating 'incident'

The Stratford Police Service is actively investigating an incident in the city.

A release from the police service's "X" account, formerly known as Twitter, states that police are investigating a "serious incident" in the area of Ontario and King Street in Stratford.

Stratford Police Service is warning residents that an increased police presence will be in that area of the city for the remainder of the day as they continue their investigation.

Police also shared that there is no threat to public safety as a result of this incident being investigated.
