CT scanner campaign receives another donation

The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation has received another generous donation for an important campaign.

Wayne and Linda Hopper of Brussels have donated $10,000 to the foundation's Caring Together fundraising campaign which is aiming to bring a brand new CT scanner to Wingham.

A release from the foundation shares that Wayne has benefitted from the care at the hospital in the past, including needing to travel for a CT scan.

Following a successful farming season, the Hoppers wanted to contribute to the campaign.

The Caring Together campaign has reached 94 percent of its goal of raising $3.6 million for the new CT Scanner and the necessary renovations.

Anyone interested in donating or learning more about the CT scanner can visit www.wdhfoundation.ca/ct-scanner.
