Fentanyl, meth seized from vehicle northwest of Owen Sound

Charges have been laid against two people after Grey Bruce OPP seized illegal drugs from a vehicle northwest of Owen Sound.

Police were called about two people reportedly passed out inside the vehicle on Park Street in Georgian Bluffs around 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.

Officers arrived on scene and arrested the pair after finding an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and other drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

A 40-year-old Southgate resident and a 43-year-old from Grey Highlands are charged with two counts of possession of drugs and two counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

Police said the incident is an example of why it is important for the public to report all suspicious activity they see to police.
