UPDATE: Wellington County intersection reopened following crash

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Wellington County are investigating a collision that sent one person to hospital.

Police say it happened shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Line 86 and Listowel Road in Wallenstein.

One person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The intersection was closed to allow emergency crews to clear the scene and investigate the incident. It was reopened at around 9 p.m. Thursday.

No further details have been released.
