MP hands out King Charles III Coronation Medals

Perth-Wellington MP John Nater handed out King Charles III Coronation Medals in a recent ceremony.

Twenty residents in Nater's riding were presented with the medals in Listowel on September 29.

The King Charles III Coronation Medal is a Commemorative Medal created by the Government of Canada to mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.

The recipients were selected following an open nomination process in May and June when residents of Perth-Wellington were asked to nominate outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to our communities and country.

“These recipients were nominated by their communities; their neighbours, co-workers, friends, and fellow volunteers. They come from all nine municipalities in Perth—Wellington and embody different backgrounds, careers, and interests. But each of them holds one important thing in common: a commitment to their community and country," Nater shared.
