Crime Stoppers host successful shredding event

Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington held a very successful shredding event in Mount Forest.

Crime Stoppers board members, Friends of Crime Stoppers and Wasteco Canada staff managed to raise $3,250 at the event on September 14 in Mount Forest.

The event promotes the awareness of identity theft, and is a safe and professional way to get rid of documents.

Supporters lined up for the drive-thru service before the 9 a.m. start to support the shredding event, which Crime Stoppers hold to raise money for Tipster rewards and to operate the program. The final Shredding Event of the season is Sept. 28th in Guelph. For more information, go to www.csgw.tips.
