Huron Shores Area Transit moves Bluewater bus stop

Huron Shores Area Transit (HSAT) announced this week it has permanently moved the bus stop in St. Joseph to a seniors home up the road.

The stop has been relocated to the turning circle at Bluewater Rest Home on Zurich Hensall Road.

HSAT says the move was based on bus stop usage and rider feedback that indicated the Mill Road bus stop in Zurich was too far for staff, volunteers, residents, and guests at the Bluewater Rest Home and the nearby seniors’ apartments.

They remind riders that the new Route 3 stop is available to everyone, with buses arriving at 12:12 p.m. and 2:52 p.m. when heading to Bayfield and Goderich. The return trip to Grand Bend will stop at the Bluewater complex at 2:20 p.m. and 5 p.m.
