A three vehicle crash in Mapleton Township has resulted in charges against one driver.
On September 9 just before 10 a.m., Wellington County OPP responded alongside the Mapleton Fire Department and Wellington County Paramedic Services to a reported crash involving three vehicles on Wellington Road 8 at the intersection of Wellington Road 10 in Mapleton Township.
Sections of Wellington Road 8 and 10 were closed for the investigation, but are now open.
Police confirmed that one of the involved vehicles was a Wellington County Paramedic response vehicle.
Two people involved were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries. One driver has been charged with an offence found in the Highway Traffic Act.
