Update: Planned outage in Teeswater called off

Westario Power says a previously announced emergency planned outage in Teeswater is no longer needed.

The outage was planned for Wednesday night at 11 p.m. and would've affected all customers in town, except for Gay Lea Foods.

"Earlier today, our team completed work that unexpectedly mitigated the need for the outage," said a statement from Bill Lorentz, Manager of Customer Service.
