One person is dead and three others are in hospital following a serious single-vehicle crash in Georgian Bluffs.
Emergency crews were called to the collision on Concession 21 between Zion Church Road and Sideroad 20 just before 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Four people were taken to hospital where one was pronounced dead. The deceased individual has been identified as a 69-year-old from Neyaashiinigmiing. Their name has not been released in order to protect the privacy of the family.
The three other people who were taken to hospital have injuries listed as non-life threatening, Grey Bruce OPP confirmed on Wednesday morning.
The collision kept a section of Concession 21 closed for several hours. It has since been reopened.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing. Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
