Provincial police are turning to the public for help identifying three suspects in a violent robbery last week west of Owen Sound.
According to Grey Bruce OPP, three people went into the unnamed store in the area of Highway 6 and Highway 21 in Georgian Bluffs around 7:30 p.m. last Wednesday.
The trio, who were reportedly acting suspiciously, were confronted by a security guard. They then stole store items worth less than $5,000, police said.
The security guard and the store manager tried to stop the theft and were assaulted. The two suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention, police said.
The three thieves also allegedly caused approximately $200 damage to store property before taking off.
On Tuesday, police released photos of suspects in the robbery. Investigators are asking anyone who can identify the trio to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
