A Goderich man is facing drug trafficking charges after Huron County OPP executed a search warrant in town on the morning of August 29.
The search resulted in the seizure of drugs, weapons, cash and other offence related property that police estimate is worth over $20,000.
OPP say the investigation was initiated by members of the Community Street Crimes Unit which led investigators to a suspect in the Town of Goderich.
As a result of the investigation, police seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl, hydromorphone, and cocaine, as well as digital scales, packaging material, cell phones and several knives.
Police estimated the value of the seized drugs is $12,600.
The 43-year-old man is now facing three charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as unauthorized possession of a weapon.
The accused was processed and is being held for a bail hearing at the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice.
