The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation has received more financial support for a new CT scanner.
HuronTel has pledged $75,000 towards the hospital foundation's Caring Together Campaign, which is working to bring a brand new CT Scanner to the Wingham and District Hospital.
The campaign was launched earlier this year and has a fundraising target of $3.6 million.
At the time of writing, the campaign is sitting at just over $3.1 million raised, inching ever closer to the final goal.
"The patients who will benefit from a CT Scanner at the Wingham Hospital are many of the same people we serve as customers in Huron and Bruce Counties. It’s important for us to support our community wherever we can," said HuronTel General Manager, Ryan McClinchey.
