Sexual assault charges laid following investigation

A 28-year-old from Grey Highlands is facing numerous charges following a sexual assault investigation.

Wellington County OPP say they began an investigation on August 23 into a reported sexual assault at an address in the Town of Minto.   

As a result of the police investigation, a 28-year-old from Grey Highlands faces charges of sexual assault, break-and-enter, and forcible confinement.

The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
