Multiple suspects charged in connection to Goderich robbery

Huron County OPP have arrested and charged multiple suspects following an investigation into a robbery in Goderich.

On August 9 just after 7:00 p.m., the Huron County OPP received a report that a robbery had taken place in a wooded area near Parson's Court between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

One person was assaulted and had their belongings stolen and damaged. A metal object was used to assault the victim. The suspects then ran off.

The victim was able to identify three of the four suspects allegedly involved.

Police have arrested and charged a 33-year-old of no fixed address, a 43-year-old from Goderich, and a 42-year-old from Goderich with numerous offences, including robbery, assault with a weapon, and theft under $5,000.

The fourth suspect has not been identified. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, contact Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
