COVID-19 outbreak at Wiarton Long Term Care Home

Grey Bruce Public Health is working to contain a COVID-19 outbreak at the Gateway Haven Long Term Care Home in Wiarton.

Public health identified the outbreak Friday, and implemented precautions and safety measures to support staff and residents.

Public health will issue an update when the outbreak is over, but in the meantime they are thanking residents, staff, and families for their cooperation and understanding.

Families can continue to contact the Brucelea Haven and Gateway Haven homes with any questions and concerns.
