Guns, drugs, stolen property seized by police

A 43-year-old Meaford man is facing more than a dozen charges after police searched a home last week.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m. on July 25, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) searched a residence on Marshall Street in Meaford by way of warrant.

According to the OPP, around $22,000 worth of property was seized including two firearms, a 22-calibre rifle, a pellet gun, kitchen appliances, and three bicycles.

The accused is also facing drug possession charges for cocaine and methamphetamine.

The investigation is ongoing.
