Following the cancellation of its Canada Day fireworks, Sauble Beach will have a light show on a long weekend after all.
The Town of South Peninsula announced that the fireworks will be rescheduled for Sunday, August 4.
Originally planned for June 30, the display was called off due to high winds that weekend.
Now the town is inviting residents and visitors out to Sauble Beach around 10 p.m. on the Sunday of the Civic Holiday weekend, for what it says will be "an unforgettable evening under the stars."
