Teen charged in South Bruce child pornography investigation

A 15-year-old is facing charges after a child pornography investigation by provincial police in South Bruce.

OPP received a report about a person posting nude photos of an individual under the age of 18 to social media on Sunday.

Following an investigation, the South Bruce OPP crime unit arrested a 15-year-old from Huron Kinloss Township. The teen, who cannot be named because of their age, is charged with publishing child pornography, publishing an intimate image without consent, and assault.

The accused is scheduled to appear in Walkerton court in relation to the charges at a later date, police said.
