Saugeen Shores Police seek 'suspicious' man

The Saugeen Shores Police Service is asking for the public's help identifying a suspicious person observed in Port Elgin earlier this week.

Police say the man was seen in the area of Market Street and Waterloo Street and that the incident occurred on Wednesday between 11 p.m. and midnight.

Police did not share details of what offence, if any, occurred. However, they're asking for help identifying the man described as 6 feet tall and wearing all black clothing and a black baseball cap.

If anyone has surveillance footage of the area, contact police at 519-832-2500 or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
