Hospital Foundation receives another donation toward CT scanner

The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation is celebrating another donation toward a very important campaign.

The Kinsmen Club of Teeswater & District has made a $10,000 donation to the hospital foundation's Caring Together campaign, which has the goal of bringing a brand new CT Scanner to the Wingham and District Hospital.

The Kinsmen presented their donation to Campaign Team Leader Shelley Reinhardt at the Memory Park they donated to the Town of Teeswater.

Reinhardt thanked the group saying, “The Kinsmen donation means a lot to us. The new CT Scanner is an important addition that will improve care for patients throughout our region."

The Kinsmen stated that many patients in the South Bruce area receive treatment in Wingham and they felt it was important to lend a helping hand.

Kinsmen President Matt Ireland said, “Having access to good quality healthcare close to home is important to all the Kinsmen. We’re happy to be able to support the new CT Scanner at the hospital."

More information about the Caring Together campaign and how to give can be found atwdhfoundation.ca/ct-campaign. At the time of writing, the campaign has raised over $2.2 million of its $2.5 million goal.
