UPDATE: Power outages in Midwestern Ontario

Hydro One crews responded to scattered power outages across midwestern Ontario Tuesday.

According to Hydro One's outage map, all customers in the region should now have their power back.

Westario Power says electricity is restored to communities it serves in Wingham, Lucknow, Ripley, Palmerston, and Teeswater.

Hydro One reported the cause was under investigation, but pointed out the thunderstorms that moved through the region Tuesday.

Power went out late Tuesday morning in various communities scattered across Huron, Bruce, Perth and Grey Counties, with over 2500 customers affected at one point.
