Community meeting set to discuss shaping the growth of Grey Highlands

Annesley United Church in Markdale will host a community meeting on June 25, 2024 to discuss sustainable growth and community building. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the conversation, being organized by the Grey Highlands Municipal League, will begin at 7 p.m.

Over the next decade, thousands of new homes will be built in the Markdale area. This is an opportunity for the community to discuss the direction of its future when it comes to the makeup of neighborhoods, local shops, sprawl and the presence of Big Box stores.

For those unable to attend in person, the event will be live-streamed and recorded on the Middle Grey Events' YouTube channel.
