Exeter's Main Street will be shut down on June 20 as a part of the major ongoing reconstruction project.
The Municipality of South Huron says the closure of the project area will be from the Ausable River to Highway 83 and is expected to last for 24 hours.
The road shutdown to complete the sanitary sewer road crossing will begin at 6 a.m. and will result in all traffic diverted to alternative routes.
The Municipality says affected businesses within the limits of construction, have been personally notified by the project team about the need for the one-day shutdown, as has emergency services.
In the event of poor weather conditions on June 20, the shut-down will be rescheduled to June 24, with a community notice issued in advance.
