Police seek suspects in Palmerston Pride vandalism

Provincial police in Palmerston are looking for suspects after vandals targeted Pride decorations in the town.

According to the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police, around 2:45 p.m. on June 2, Pride decorations that were wrapped around light posts on Main Street were cut.

Police want to identify four people who were in the area at the time.

The individuals are described as:

1. Male, white, short, average build, between 15 and 20 years old, short dark hair, wearing a blue plaid shirt and glasses.

2. Male, white, tall, thin, between 15 and 20 years old, short dark hair, wearing a dark blue plaid shirt.

3. Male, white, average height, average build, between 15 and 20 years old, short dark hair, wearing a two-tone (beige front, white back) trucker hat, and black T shirt.

4. Male, white, tall, average build, between 15 and 20 years old, short brown hair, wearing a tri-tone (dark blue / light blue / white) polo shirt.

Police are also investigating an incident that saw the spray painting of rainbow fabric that decorated light posts on Main Street sometime between June 9 and June 10.
