On June 6 around 5 p.m., emergency services responded to the serious collision on Wellington Road 12 at Sixteenth Line in Mapleton.
Wellington County OPP said a red sedan and a motorcycle collided.
The lone motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
The intersection was closed for the investigation, but has since reopened.
