Huron County Library recruiting for summer reading club

The Huron County Library is inviting kids to explore the cosmos this summer, as part of the TD Summer Reading Club.

The free program is designed for children ages 4-12 and runs in person at each of the 12 Huron County Library branches from July 2 until August 23.

Each week, participants will enjoy superb stories, awesome activities, and creative crafts which relate to this year’s theme, To the Stars!

All participants will receive a reading club notebook, a pack of stickers, a top summer reads list, and a bookmark with a web-access code that can be used on the tdsummerreadingclub.ca website to track reading progress and receive additional club benefits.

"We are really excited to meet this year’s readers!" said Summer Literacy Coordinators Morgan Lewis and Nadine vanBreda in a release. "This summer’s space theme allows us to learn interesting facts while also exploring space through our imagination. It’s going to be a summer packed with creativity and adventure!"

Registration is now open and can be completed online by visiting https://www.huroncountylibrary.ca/td-summer-reading-program/.
