Police requested assistance in locating a 49-year-old named Caroline from Inverhuron in Kincardine Township.
Caroline had last been seen on Alma Street in Inverhuron at 6:00 p.m. on May 28.
South Bruce OPP investigators confirmed at 6:35 a.m. on May 29 that Caroline had been located safely.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
