Update: one dead after crash in Seaforth

A serious crash has claimed the life of one person in Seaforth.

Huron County OPP confirm that just before 10:30 a.m. on May 8, they responded alongside Huron East Fire Department and Huron Paramedic Services to a report of a serious collision involving a motor vehicle on Sparling Street in Seaforth.

A 74-year-old from Seaforth was rushed to hospital, but died of their injuries.

Sparling Street was closed between John Street and Market Street as an investigation was done. It has since re-opened.
