United Way Bruce Grey has announced grant funding for a number of local programs.
Every year, UWBG invites local charities to apply for funding across three priority areas. Those are Healthy People Strong Community, From Poverty to Possibility, and All That Kids Can Be.
This year, $200,000 in funding has been split between 27 different programs and agencies.
Those include Bruce Grey Child and Family Services, Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey, and The Men’s Program – CMHA Grey Bruce.
Since being founded in 1998, United Way Bruce Grey has donated over $4 million in grants to support community programming.
"We are proud to continue supporting local programs that make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community. These grants will help address critical needs and create positive impact for our community members," said Executive Director Francesca Dobbyn of United Way of Bruce Grey.
