A man has been arrested after a robbery in Collingwood on April 10.
Just before 8 p.m., Collingwood and Blue Mountains OPP received a complaint, citing a man with his face disguised and carrying an edged weapon went into a restaurant on Hurontario Street. It was reported he demanded cash and threatened staff.
With cash from the register, the suspect ran. Officers arrived with the canine unit and arrested a man matching the suspect's description nearby.
The money stolen was recovered.
A 37-year-old Barrie mad has been charged with robbery with a weapon and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.
