Kincardine to host 2024 OHA Annual General Meeting

The Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) announced that the 135th edition of its Annual General Meeting will take place at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine from June 14 to June 15, 2024.

The event promises more than just meetings. It also will feature a golf tournament, the prestigious OHA Awards ceremony, and the attendance of special guests.

Marc Mercier, Chair of the OHA Board of Directors, emphasized the significance of hosting the 2024 AGM in Kincardine and collaborating with local organizing committee head Doug Kennedy, recipient of the 2022 OHA Gold Stick award, to celebrate the achievements of junior and senior hockey in Ontario.

Further details about the AGM, including registration and accommodation information, will be available on the OHA's official website in the coming weeks.

The Ontario Hockey Association operates three Junior hockey leagues and two Senior hockey leagues, encompassing a total of 125 teams for the 2023-24 season. The OHA's objectives include fostering amateur hockey, conducting competitions, affiliating with Hockey Canada, and providing support and resources for hockey participants' development, safety, and risk management.

This marks the first time that the OHA will hold its AGM in Kincardine.
