Forbes has placed Bruce Power among Canada’s Best Employers.
The award is based on an independent survey of more than 40,000 Canadian employees. Forbes and market research firm Statista surveyed people working for Canadian companies and institutions that employ at least 500 individuals.
Respondents rated their employer based on criteria such as salary, gender pay-equity, work flexibility, opportunities for promotion and on-the-job training. Participants were also asked if they would recommend their employer to others and were given the chance to rate other employers in their respective industries.
Bruce Power is ranked 61 on the list which included 300 companies.
“It is a proud moment knowing that Bruce Power was once again selected by its employees and others as one of Canada’s Best Employers,” said Karen Smith, Vice- President and Chief Human Resources Officer. “Our employees take pride in the work they do in providing clean electricity for Ontario and cancer-fighting medical isotopes to the world health-care community.
