OPP make arrest in Collingwood arson

The Collingwood and Blue Mountains OPP have charged a 20-year-old man in connection with a pair of fires at a local business last month.

On November 13, police attended the scene of a fire at a business on Beachwood Road in Collingwood. Then on November 26, police were called to a fire at the same business. No one was injured in either fire, but an investigation was undertaken the local crime unit.

On December 1, OPP arrested a man in relation to the arson investigation.

The Stayner man has been charged with two counts of arson. The accused was held for bail and was released on conditions.
